--Guess who has been blessed by the Germ Angel Demarcus Douglas now? Yep, Joe. Oh boy--we are in for days of sneezing, wheezing, nose blowing, coughing, and lots and lots of suffering now. Some cold or flu can be going around the whole family for weeks, but mysteriously, it is always worse when it reaches Dad.
--He came out this morning making the formal announcement that he was starting to get "the cold". Em looked up from her Cinnamon Toast Crunch and said "Demarcus strikes again". Joe looked at her incrediously and asked "There really was a Demarcus?! I thought you were joking." He wadded up a bunch of Kleenex for the ride to work and left.
--Pray for us.

I think the Demarcus bug has travelled my way. I've had a cold for days now that I just can't seem to shake. I hope that all of you are beginning to feel better.
I don't mean to laugh--Demarcus is infecting the world I think! I'm sure your family is wondering why you are cursing someone called "Demarcus Douglas"! I don't even know the kid--its just fun to blame someone! Em said the teacher stopped class to thank Demarcus for spreading his disease! :) Hope you feel better soon. If there is any bright spot--it is a short-lived cold.
