It's a Major Award!

There was a double-secret contest over at Red Pine Mountain.
I know, I was shocked too.

But I didn't mind. Nope.
Because I won.
(hooray!)

Look what I won:

Some very snappy Easter hand towels made by Vicki over at
Vixens Den.
Aren't they cute?!

I put them in the guest bathroom,
but I'm secretly hoping nobody wipes their filthy hands on them.

Thank you, Mountain Woman!!

Oh! Thanks also go out to
Fish at As The Crackerhead Crumbles
for the shout-out on his Sunday Drive.

I must not have kicked the back of seat too much
on the drive last week.

Snazzy towels. White, huh? Perhaps you could hermetically seal them in plastic before putting them out. They need to make a very clear "look but don't touch" statement.

No one should use those fancy guest towels...they are just for show! LOL!!

A-Dorable!!! And you should put up a note about not wiping hands on them...those are definitely off limits

I am so glad you like them!

Such happy, springy towels. Very nice and congrats on the win. I would strangle the person who dares to wipe their hands on those pretty towels.

A double secret contest? Must be why I didn't know about it...lol Cute prize, I would be threatening people to keep their dirty hands off the towels.

DG--You just know that the minute my kid looks at those they're gonna be black. I just hate kids sometimes. :(

Hot Rocks--Yeah, tell the kids that! And the husband. They just look at me like "What???!" when I say stuff like that.

Tracy--Hey, I thought you, of all people, would comment on my "shocked" photo at the top of the post. I love that photo. Don't you???

Chuck--Hee! Hee! I try, Chuck. I spend my life kicking the metaphorical backs of folks' seats. :)

Grace--Well, that's what I call it. It's really the 1/2 bath in a dinky house with 1 1/2 baths. :) Sounds more impressive the other way, doesn't it?? :)

Violet--Oh, just to WIN! I was in hog heaven.

Vanilla7--Maybe only when company comes over. :) It sure was fun to get a surprise in the mail.

Pricilla--It was a big win, wasn't it?? I was very excited. I kinda looked like the kids in the first photo. Nobody commented on that today-hmmmmmm. I must be losing my touch.

Jude--Well, they are white with a little Easter ribbon stitched on it for some jazzing up. They are very cute. I guess just winning a prize is a treat for me. :)

Vixen--Yes!! You rocked them out, pally! Thanks for making these. :)

Buggys--Well, I suppose I could wash them. And if I use them as guest towels, they won't get as dirty as if I allowed the family to use them. It was a major win, I tell ya! :)

Ann--Not one person commented on the first photo! What is with that??! I think the towels just stole the stage today. Aren't they cute?? :)

Melodie--I was just excited to get a package in the mail AND then I saw how cute they were!! Wow. Life is good today.

Very pretty Easter towels! Congrats on the win!

So cute! Lucky You!

Putting them in the guest bathroom ~ never a guarentee that they won't get used. I figure if my guests want to dry their faces on towels that have been hanging there for months they are welcome to the dust!!! Haha!

Hmmm...maybe that's one of the reasons we don't seem to have many guests stay at our house... hmmmm....

It's fun to win stuff, isn't it? Especially CUTE stuff.

Congrats! I'm bringing my muddy paws over!

Sharky--Figures--I never enter contests because I don't win. Now, I don't enter and I WIN!! :)

Beaded Tail--Aren't they cute?? Such a nice treat to get a surprise from a bloggy pal.

Catherine--Well, it's sort of our bathroom being that we only have 1 1/2 baths here, but "guest bathroom" just sounds better. ;)

Cute--Yeah, it IS! And it isn't even for the kitties! Well, not that I know of anyway.

Diana--Crud. I'm gonna make you wash your hands BEFORE you come in! LOL!! Loved your son's photos, Diana--he is adorable!

Thank you so much for the very honorable mention, but you've got it all wrong (again!). For it is not that you didn't keep the back of the seat too much, it is that I am getting much better at being tolerant of your antics.

Thanks so much for linking to me and I'm glad you enjoyed my secret giveaway. Vickie makes wonderful towels!!!

Lin said...

Fish--Whew! And just so you know, those aren't antics--they are just me. :)

Mtn Woman--She does!! I wonder if Mtn Man can make towels like that?? ;)
