Somebody else is missing the frogs too.
It isn't half as much fun to drink out of the pond when there aren't frogs in there
to flavor it.

- I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days. I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. I just love how a cat crouches like that when they're really studying something hard. Poor Hobbes. A frogless day is no fun.
We have never had frog flavored water. Guess it must be good. Hopefully there will be more frogs soon Hobbes. Have a super day.
We have duck-flavored water ;-), but Sammy doesn't go near the pond. He prefers drinking straight from the tap!
You really need to go find some frogs for that pond. Hobbes will thank you.

Kathy--He's actually drinking out of the pond, but he does miss the frogs. They would usually "eep" and make a splash when he would do this. It was BIG cat fun for Hobbes. I think he misses it.
Marg--4 Taddies today, Marg! Hopefully the warm sunshine will turn them into frogs for Hobbes.
Duni--We have fake ducklings in the pond--do you think they add flavor??

Patty--He keeps looking for the frogs and poking the rocks that stick out of the water, thinking it's them. It's so funny to watch!

Nancy--It is. I think he misses them. He keeps looking for them.
Beaded Tail--Yep, and there is a whole batch of baby fish that he might slurp up if he's not careful! Hahaha!

Lisa--He likes to drink out of the pond and frighten the frogs into the water. I think he really misses them. He loves that bullfrog "EEP!" and the big plop into the water. It's sorta sad.
Vanilla--Patience, Hobbes. Patience. 4 new taddies today! :)
Ann--Well, it's fish flavored currently and...oh yeah...tadpole flavored now. :)
Daisy--I think he misses them, Daisy! He keeps going over to the pond hoping to find one to scare into the water. He is very sad.
Debbie--Yeah, the rock that is sticking out of the water! I think he thinks it is a frog!! Silly cat.
Lin,Sorry your frogs are MIA. You have a great home for them so they or others will surely return.
