Grace and I had a little chat yesterday:
"Grace, I love that when I whisper to ya 'Act like you're sleeping!' you do. And you're good too, Dad falls for it every time. And when it rains, you don't hop away like certain ungrateful frogs I know."
You know, some things are just not taken for granted by me.

Oh Grace, that is such a cute picture of you. You probably wonder why the Mom is whispering to you so you just keep on sleeping. Smart move.

Ya, the frogs will probably return with their wives, ex-wives, college kids and in-laws. Not to worry. :-)

Marg--Damn frogs. I'll stick with my Gracie--she's true blue. ;)
Jean--I dunno. It seems that when they reach 2 years old, they go--even with a male or two in the pond. Sigh. Gotta get used to it, I guess.
Vanilla--She is. Makes me laugh.
Diane--Sometimes I get returning frogs or new ones--it's hard to tell. Just in case, I'm out shopping for local stores who sell taddies. It's frog insurance. :)
Chuck--And she just stares at me when I tell her stuff, like "Who cares, Lin. Who cares?" But I like to pretend she is just teasing me.
Grace--She is really loyal. She is a one-person cat.
Lauren -- Yep, she is. :)
Beaded Tail--She is very pretty. I love a gray kitty.
Catherine--She humors me too. That's my favorite part.
Melodie--Yep, she is. :)
Anne--Yeah, she's my girl and we're big buds. I like to tell her "Act like you're sleeping!"--which she is already doing, but it makes me feel like she's playing along. We're a good team.

I love Grace. She's so lovely, and you already know what a crazy cat lady I am. I'm glad to see your loyalties lie with the truly worthy creatures. ;) Cats ROCK.
