May, I be done with you

If you came by here early this morning, you would have found this exact photo, but with a whole different post attached to it.  Criminy, I wrote this entire post and realized, hours later, that I wrote the same darn thing last week.  I think I'm losing it.

May is killing me. Like Hobbes, my butt is here, but the rest of me......well.....it's sorta just hanging on by a thread.

I am never so glad to see a month go away as I am with May.  Even February and March, with all the snow and ice, isn't as bad.  May is just busy. Very, very busy.

And it takes all my money.

So, I'd like to say a fond farewell to you, May.  While I love the dress you wear, you are a mutha' when it comes to living with you on a daily basis.

I'm hoping June finds me some time to breathe......and some money to pay for May's damages.

Today, your friend May delivers her final lines and exits--stage left and that's alright. :)

It has been a very busy time for us with the new garden going in. Many a day has come to an end with Sylvia and me being tired and sore--very sore. Yet, it feels good.

Not for me. May around here is nothing but rain, rain, rain, rain, rain and more rain. It's September that beats the hell out of me

June is my expensive month :) I think any month is ok with me though as long as it's not cold.

Our May was good actually--did some fun things and got a $75 gift card with no calamities--yea! Hobbes looks so cute with his front paws out like that; he looks very cozy lying there.

May kind of flew by for me, it kind of feels as though we jumped from April to June.

Vanilla--So, I'm either ugly or not fun to live with? :o

Grace--Yeah, I think you win this time around.

Chuck--I have been running nearly every single night in the month of May. And all that running somehow involves money. Then the van needed some repairs this week. C'mon, June!

Diane--It's crazy. I need a money tree.

Patty--Rain = mud. Blech! I'm hoping that once Em gets out of high school, we won't have all those end-of-the-year costs anymore. At least tuition can be spread out over months.

Ann--Really? May isn't with getting the yard and pool ready? I always say "May--never enough time or money"

DJ--Oh, we don't have those here. Stay safe, my friend!

Karen--Look at you making money! ;) I walked into the living room to find Hobbes like that--he looked comfy, but not. He's goofy.

Silver--It did fly, didn't it? But it left me broke, so I feel sorta "used." Hee! Hee!

I hope June goes by much slower than May did. Love that photo of Hobbes!

Oh, no doubt. Maria came home tonight. Did the tour of all the pharmacies in my village and ended up having to go to J-town to only get 2 of the 4 meds she needed filled. $70. Damn! We don't need food in June...right?

Sometimes I too wonder where my brain cells have gone to as well. But look at sweet Hobbes ~ no self esteem problems there. He knows he's cool. ;)
