Two years ago, we had this huge snowstorm that dumped a couple of feet of snow on us and left us all freaking out. Well, not me per se, but, you know, the media was all crazy-like and everyone was doing the bread and milk thing.
Anywho.....
Joe decided to grab the camcorder and record the snowfall for posterity. Notorious for taking lame photos and video, we don't typically let Joe around the electronics. Or if we do, we sorta secretly delete whatever he has recorded.
And before you all go defending Joe and saying "Oh, poor Joe" and such, I'd like you see his cinematic take on "Snowmageddon." It's classic Joe:
He asks for it, people. He really does.

Well there had to be some marker for Snowmageddon - better lamp than making Em stand by the window
Have to say that just cracked me up; it's also the reason I have a camera with a built in image stabilizer. Hee ;o)
LOL...nice lamp!
♥ Happy Valentine's Day! ♥
LOL. Reminds me of my husband - every time he grabs my Canon to take pictures, he switches the flash off and the pictures are all blurry. He says they 'look cool that way' and I'm like, "seriously, will you never learn?"
You will *never* forget that lamp.
Oh I have one of those - a husband who can't even point and shoot a still shot - you know how the on/off button and the 'snap the photo' button are next to each other? He can't seem to ever find the MUCH larger 'snap the photo' button...and if he does we get great shots of the floor or the ceiling - of anything and everything that is NOT what he was supposed to be aiming at. A video - surely you jest...
Just wait until you depend upon him to take videos of grandchildren. Oh, I guess you won't depend on him. Ah! His evil plan has worked!!!! Love the subtitles/comments!
Okay, you've made your case.
while I hesitate to pick on Joe I must offer him the advice to hold on to his day job...lol
The lamp cracked me up but the second video was HILARIOUS!!
That looks like my husband's camcorder work. I have lovely pictures of our feet / floor at my son's preschool graduation the camera comes up, you see all the kids and it goes black, back to feet. Yeah he got the record button all mixed up.
LOL!!! I thought my hubby sucked at camcording but Joe takes the cake!
Ok, so maybe he didn't take the most exciting spin on it, but that's still an impressive amount of snow!
My husband does all the photos and video in the house. My stuff ends up like Joe's.
OMG>..please post link to where you purchased that LAMP!!!!!!!! Maybe Joe could do that for you.
Definitely destined to be a classic!
